SOUNDTRACK INFO
My soundtrack is a compendium of solo piano music, harp duets, original songs, cover versions and ambient sound designs. Songs include an arrangement of La Mer by Charles Trenet and my interpretation of Ae Fond Kiss by Robert Burns. I was cast in multiple acting/singing roles alongside harpist Catriona McKay (2005 version) and later with Mary Macmaster in the 2015 remount.
PERFORMANCE HISTORY
Premiered at The Old City Morgue, Cork as part of Cork European Capital Of Culture in July 2005, before transferring to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The production was remounted for a 10-year anniversary tour across Scotland in Autumn 2015.

The Devil's Larder was the recipient of numerous awards and nominations during the run at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival Fringe including a Herald Archangel; Scotsman Fringe First; Total Theatre Award and the Carol Tambor Foundation.

Features in the albums:
’Theatre Works Vol 1’ & ‘Vol 2’
“With the low-key magical realist mood heightened by a live score composed and performed by David Paul Jones and harpist Mary Macmaster, who also prove themselves to be adept performers, The Devil's Larder proves to be a feast for the senses, however deranged they may be.”
THE HERALD
“David Paul Jones’s music – performed and sung live, with Mary McMaster on harp – is a haunting collage of old songs and harmonies”
