Triptych: Tales From The Dissection Room is a sublimely dark, gothic, fusion of music and the spoken word by some of Scotland’s most exciting, fearless writers including Ever Dundas, Harry Josephine Giles and Iona Lee, performing commissioned poems inspired by the history of Summerhall, Edinburgh, with each set to original music composed and performed by David Paul Jones.
Commissioned by Push The Boat Out International Poetry Festival.
PERFORMANCE HISTORY
Premiered as a one-off, exclusive live performance at Summerhall, Edinburgh on 23 November 2023.
Demo recording of Tryptich. Tracks 1 & 3 narrated by DPJ. Track 2 narrated by Iona Lee (the live version featured narration by all three writers).
